  • Store your crystals in pouches, silk, wooden boxes or anything that shields your crystals from external energy. 

    If you want to keep your crystals out for display purposes, you may have to cleanse and charge them more often. 

    Store crystals with Amethyst, Carnelian or any kind of Quartz because these crystals naturally cleanse and charge other crystals!

  • When Should You Clean Your Crystals?

    • If your crystal is new or you haven't worked with it yet.

     

    • If your crystal(s) feel light/weak or imbalanced.

     

    • If it was present during a negative event.

    How Do You Clean Your Crystals?

     

    1. Sunlight / Moonlight

    Place your crystals in a lit window or outside. *Use Caution! Certain crystals will fade in the sunlight.*

    2. Salt

    A salt bed is simply a layer of dry salt that you rest your crystals on. It's super easy & very effective! Salt's absorbent nature will draw out the released, unwanted energies that collect on the surface of your crystals. *Salt without iodine is preferred but not required.*

     

    3. Running Water

    Hold your crystals under running water or pour salt water over them to rinse away negative energy. *Use Caution! Certain crystals can be damaged by water*

    4. Brown Rice

    Raw brown rice pulls the negative energy into its grains so bury your crystals for 1-3 hours or 1-3 days. It's all about what you prefer. Once removed, be sure to throw away the rice. DO NOT COOK OR CONSUME!

     

    5. Visualization

    Hold your crystals and visualize a white light passing through them, pushing out all of the old energy. Your intuition will tell you when they are cleansed.

     

    6. Smudging

    Pass your crystals through cleansing herbs to carry the old energy away in smoke. Make sure a window is open during this process so the negative energy can be fully released.

     

    7. Other Crystals

    Keep Amethyst, Carnelian or any kind of Quartz near your other crystals to cleanse them. Another simple yet very effective way to cleanse your crystals.

     

    8. The Elements

    • Earth: Bury your crystal(s) in the ground overnight.

     

    • Wind: Put your crystal(s) out on a windy day or use your smudge sticks.

     

    • Water: Like I mentioned previously, hold your crystals under running water or pour salt water over them.

     

    • Fire: Run your crystals very quickly through a candle flame. *Be very cautious if you choose to cleanse your crystals this way.*
